DAR ES SALAAM – The Tanzania Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) participated in the Angola Day Forum held on July 4, 2026, at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF). The forum formed part of the official Angola Day celebrations and brought together business leaders, investors, government representatives, and other stakeholders to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between Tanzania and Angola.

The event was officiated by Hon. Domingos De Almeida Da Silva Coelho, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Tanzania. She stressed the importance of turning the friendship into tangible cooperation.

“Angola and Tanzania share a long-standing friendship, but the current priority is to turn that friendship into practical cooperation in investment and trade that will generate jobs and stimulate economic growth,” She said.

During the forum, TISEZA presented Tanzania’s diverse investment opportunities, with a particular focus on the advantages of investing in the country’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and Export Processing Zones (EPZs). The presentation was delivered by Mr. Vedasto Kagombora, Senior Investment Officer at TISEZA, who outlined Tanzania’s investor-friendly business environment, government support measures, and the wide range of incentives available to both local and foreign investors.

He said, “These areas are important tools in accelerating industrial development, increasing exports, and creating productive jobs, especially for the youth.”

He said the Government is continuing to implement reforms aimed at improving the efficiency of service delivery to investors and reducing bureaucratic barriers that could delay the implementation of investment projects.

“We are committed to ensuring that investors who choose Tanzania receive services that are efficient, transparent, and collaborative,” He said.

TISEZA’s participation reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to promoting Tanzania as a competitive investment destination. It strengthens international partnerships that contribute to sustainable economic growth and industrial development.

Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and Export Processing Zones (EPZs) are strategically designated to accelerate industrialization, increase exports, create employment, and enhance technology transfer. Investors operating within these zones benefit from modern infrastructure, streamlined administrative procedures, attractive fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, and improved access to regional and international markets.
