ARUSHA- The Tanzania Investment Summit 2026 is set to take place, aimed at unlocking bankable opportunities for inclusive growth across the nation. Scheduled from June 1st to June 2nd, 2026, it will be hosted at the Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha. The summit is being convened through the Tanzania Investment Growth Facility (TIGF) and co-hosted by the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) and the United Nations Development Programme Tanzania (UNDP), in partnership with Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) and Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA).
A core objective of the summit is to showcase Tanzania’s national investment pipeline across several critical economic sectors. Attendees will gain insight into strategic projects such as tourism infrastructure, transport, renewable energy, water resources, the blue economy, agro-processing, and sub-national development.
The summit serves as a vital platform for policy advocacy and international positioning. It aims to engage government leadership directly on critical opportunities for investment climate reform, public-private collaboration, and the solidification of national investment priorities. It intends to firmly position Tanzania internationally as a highly competitive and reliable destination for global capital.
To achieve these ambitious goals, the event is structured to strengthen enduring partnerships with development finance institutions (DFIs), multilateral development banks (MDBs), pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, commercial banks, and impact investors. The expected participant profile includes a diverse mix of global investors and financiers, development partners, government ministries and agencies, DFIs, and prominent entities from both the private sector and domestic institutions, to shape the economic future of the region.
Attending the summit provides valuable insight into Tanzania’s economic reforms, investment climate, and long-term development priorities to investors. The event offers a chance to explore commercially viable and sustainable investment opportunities.
